Apple’s AI-Powered Siri Could Arrive Sooner Than Expected

Apple introduced several exciting AI features with iOS 18 during the launch of the iPhone 16 series. However, the company announced that its new “Apple Intelligence” and AI-powered Siri wouldn’t be available until March 2025, alongside the iOS 18.4 update.

But according to a recent update by Mark Gurman, some of these AI-powered Siri features might arrive earlier than anticipated, likely with the iOS 18.3 update, expected in January 2025. While it’s not guaranteed, there is a possibility that Apple could surprise its users with Siri improvements ahead of schedule.

The current timeline for iOS 18 updates includes iOS 18.1 in October 2024, followed by iOS 18.2 in December 2024, and iOS 18.3 in January 2025. The most anticipated AI features, shown during Apple’s WWDC 2024 and the iPhone 16 launch event, are still expected to be fully available by Q1 2025 with iOS 18.4.

Apple fans are eagerly awaiting these updates, and we hope that by the time Apple releases its full AI functionalities, it will also comply with regulations in the EU to make the features available there.
